Practice is from 5:00 - 8:00 pm every Wednesday

BMCS (Belegarth Medieval Combat Society) is a nation wide form fighting larp/sport distinguished between many different Realms and Units that make up the community. Realm Minas Ithil is one of the many Realms in Illinois that exists as a student organization at NIU.

In Belegarth its more than just a sport and larp. We fight friends using foam swords, shields, spears, greatswords, axes, flails, bow and arrows, and with armor. Additionally there are many medieval arts and crafts you can learn outside fighting.

Note: You do not have to be an NIU student to participate! All you have to do is sign our waiver digitally (under 'more details') or you can sign the waiver in person.
