Hello Huskies,
It’s time to re- register your student organization for the upcoming year! Every year, all recognized student organizations must re-register through Huskie Hub to maintain active status and recognition with the Student Government Association (SGA).
This year, we’ve updated the re-registration process. All student organizations must complete the required steps outlined below to remain in good standing for the 2025–2026 academic year.
Please read ALL the instructions carefully to avoid delays or loss of access.
Re-Registration Timeline
- Regular Re-Registration: April 23 at 8:00 AM – July 31 at 11:59 PM
- Late Re-Registration: August 25 at 8:00 AM – September 30 at 11:59 PM
Note: If you do not complete re-registration by July 31, your organization will be inactive and ineligible to participate in events such as the Involvement Fair until late re-registration begins.
What You’ll Need to Complete Re-Registration:
- Names of Officers (First Name, Last Name, Z-ID using the template that is attached)
- President
- Vice President
- Treasurer
- NIU Faculty/Staff Advisor
- If your organization has not held elections yet, you may update officer info after submitting the re-registration.
- Full Roster
- First Name, Last Name, and Z-ID are required.
- There will be a downloaded excel sheet attached to the form for you to fill out your roster.
- Updated Constitution:
- All organizations’ constitutions must have all the required sections that SGA within their constitution. Please review the downloadable check list to confirm you have all the required sections.
Student Org Training Requirements:
- In addition to submitting the re-registration form, your officers that are listed must also complete training that will be hosted in Huskie Hub. Once your re-registration form is submitted, listed officers will be manually enrolled in mandatory officer training through Huskie Hub. Please allow up to 1-2 business days after the submission to be added to the training. Your organization will be officially approved only after all listed officers complete this training.
Important Note:
- Organizations that do not complete re-registration by September 30 will be removed from Huskie Hub and must go through the full new organization registration process to regain recognition.
