The convocation center is looking for student organizations to work as event staff to assist with the Cheer event at the convocation center this weekend. These positions primarily involve helping guests enter the venue and assisting with guest services inside the arena. The event coordinator, Sheri Voss, will provide additional instructions and explain responsibilities when staff arrive on-site.

Abilities:
- Ability to stand for long periods
- English-speaking
- Ability to lift 25 lbs.
Job Duties:
- Ticket scanning and bag checks
- Restricting access to designated areas
- Monitoring crowd behavior
- Assisting with quick cleanup and other guest service needs
Parking & Check-In Instructions:
- Please park in Lot C3 on the northwest side of the Convocation Center. After parking, walk down the loading dock ramp and follow the orange signs to the Event Staff Briefing Room. Sign in on the sheet, grab a shirt, and wait in the briefing room for further instructions.
Staffing Needs:
Saturday, October 24:
- 8 staff members: 2:30 – 10:00 pm
Sunday, October 25:
- 5 staff members: 2:30 – 9:00 pm
