We have dates for this year's late night events! The following dates are a options for late night events:
- September 11th/12th
- October 31st/November 1st
- November 7th/8th
The selection process is similar to last year and will be first come first served basis. However, in making sure everyone has a chance to host a late night event, if you have already hosted a late night event in the academic year, other organizations will be considered first before your event is considered. For example, if you hosted a late night event in September and put another in for Ocotober, other submissions for the October date will be considered first. If we have no other submissions as we get closer to the proposed date then we will consider your event for review.
There is also an update to the Event Support Fund that student organizations should be made aware of, especially when scheduling these late night events. The first change is that the Event Support Fund will only cover up to $1,000 in total for an event. In the past it was $2,000 of security plus basic staffing. This year will be a maximum of $1,000 in total for the event. Additionally, you will need to apply for and have the request approved by SGA in order to have the funding be applied to the event.
