Mission
The NIU Cheerleading Program is a team full of talented athletes who perform at NIU Football games as well as NIU Basketball Games. In addition, the team also represents NIU at many university and community events throughout the year. The NIU Cheerleading team attends the NCA College Nationals in April each year and has several different performances around Illinois in the early spring.
